1) i quit band
2) i got thrown out of band
3) i missed the flight
4) i got sent home for _______
5) had my passport revoked
6) got turned around at aus customs cos my visa was invalid
7) the teacher i/c booked the wrong name for my ticket so i had to leave the airport
8) i'm too noob

still jetlagged today. but i've completed my math2, phy and chem :D
sleeping at 4-5 and waking at 1-3 for the past few days.

anyway i now know that i'm completely a brasser. could only play around 2 octaves in the first few min. sian ttm
9 days here and i've survived. starting to understand the rapid fire and/or heavily slurred german.

oh god i forgot about rhythm
cos traditionally i post about rhythm after it's done for memory's sake.
so here goes(long story time, skip if you want)
this rhythm meant so much to me. cos there was this huge shadow of doubt looming over me as to whether i could play or not.
so the saga started in around february? when we got the application forms for scip fkb. ran around asking seniors, band teachers and mr ng for opinions as to whether i should apply (and run the risk of missing rhythm and sydney or brisbane or wherever). and then after lots of tears and sweat(both figurative), i decided to apply.
got in. mentally prepared to miss rhythm. stopped practising rhapsody(almost ripped my scores).
then came the flight details and i realised that i could play for half the concert.
then news about open house in the morning. it was either one or the other. i wouldn't survive a full day of band with a 13 hour flight. so decided not to play in rhythm=.=
then further news that open house item was cancelled. but i still didn't want to play cos i had to pack
then the yr 3 item, which i thought wouldn't get through cos we had so few rehearsals, got through. and mr ng was very particular about the eupho part cos he said there were many beautiful lines in it.
so, the night before rhythm after the late night yr3 rehearsal, i decided i had to play
yeah so ends my epic. damn drama right =.=
ok so RHYTHM XXV
started with band room rehearsal. and then squad item :) got shifted to between the trumpets and trombones cos i play too softly. quite cool there- damn funny when he tries to cue me in and looks at my old seat instead.
then pac and dinner which. was. bad. then concert :D
concert opened with danse bacchanale.
yr3 item next. panicked at the eupho somewhat solo after the sax solo and just flopped(i held the pause at least a semiquaver shorter than we did in the rehearsal and then mr ng couldn't prolong the 'beautiful note') shit man i ruined the cadence and saboed my entire squad :(
then the eupho ensemble that we didn't prac cos we didn't know. ended up composing the last few bars but no one will know. except the alumni ._.
then the set pieces which were also badly done. aaaaaaaahh
then i flew off for germany. yes that's where maranda went, if anyone missed me.
ok so this was the last rhythm with the yr4s. bye guys. sorry i couldn't play 2sm with the band for the last concert. prob. and sorry i can't join you guys for aus.

yay i'm not gonna say much cos we'll have to put up with a lot more of one another in the next few years. but thanks for the past 2-3 years together. you are the most patient seniors around- not many people can put up with a hyperego junior for so long. erm sorry for being such a mean bitch at times. yall improved so much while i just stagnated for 3 years, and that made me cranky sometimes.
ahaha ok i'd better see you in sh band. there is no excuse i will accept. and i am drastic enough to jueqing completely. but i know yall are not selfish or ungrateful or jerks or i could go on forever. so there's no need for threats :D right.

and my squad :) we've gone through so much together. censored here but we all know what we've been through. legend was beautiful. honestly, i thought the piece would never be performed. thanks for working hard together to make it a success :)) love you all so much!

took me 3 days to figure out how to get into dhs mail cos the german keyboard is a sneaky bitch

yeah so i'm still well and alive. the weather is a bitch though. dips as low as 12 and goes up to almost 30 within the same day.
and my hosts refuse to speak english. ._.
no idea why but i suddenly miss my bands so much. :(
