i feel like dying

less than 2 weeks to syf and i can't play a single thing now cos of this bitch of an ulcer at the root of my tongue which makes it impossible to tongue

so for today's prac after sh band, half of the tongued notes were mispitched/out of tune/ weak/ scraped D:
i think i'll cry during tmr's prac. it isn't that bad when i'm not playing/playing smooth passages.
but accents and staccatos etc feel like someone is sawing my tongue off ))):

i'm gonna die D:
but band > me so i'll have to close my eyes and play and just die inside D:

on a completely different note, only 7 3j ppl can watch sports meet. our class is spammed with performing arts :D

tkgs exchange today

nice reunion of cvps banders esp cos cvss was there. so happy

but it feels damn weird watching them play in other bands. just feels wrong that we're not idk together? yay but like what someone said, seeing one another was like coming home.
finally home after a long, long day out (actually it's two long long years, three for the sec4s)

now i'm gonna emo cos we probably won't see each other for another year or so... emo ):
and emo cos they made us leave early so we couldn't gather and talk. damn...

zzz it seems like i'm missing the point of having an exchange. i'm not, ok. i just feel damn sad.

now that there's no more band for the rest of the holidays(what holidays -.-), there's a whole pile of hmw waiting to be done. -.-

band camp is over

anyway this band camp was probably the best band camp i've had here. shag ttm but it's all for the best.

music atrium has been eerily quiet without co. well guitar ensemble with their super loud conductor (ahahaa) is quite an equal substitute. but it just isn't quite the same as having our favourite neighbour there.

44th anniversary celebrations were damn joke. screwed the eupho ensemble but none of us really cares anymore. and queen during phototaking was just epic. love the seniors man :D

less than 20 days to syf...
sometimes through the years, i find that i don't know what i'm still doing in band. sometimes it gets so mundane, so repetitive, so mechanical; sometimes it gets so tiring, so physically demanding(past 3 years only), so darn annoying. sometimes i just find myself asking why i even continued in band.

less than 20 days to syf. everyone is saying gwh gwh gwh. but i'll say there are things more important than the colour of your medal. so whatever we might get, just remember 军乐队一家人. i know that may seem damn pessimistic, but band spirit is so high now. it'll break my heart to see a broken band at the end of the day.

thanks for reminding me of what it means to be in a band

and band, remember in 2009, (yr1) after the syf group brought a silver home, mr ng told us that the only person who could blame anyone was him (or was it mrs wong who said that?). so whatever happens, there shouldn't be any blaming of other sections, your own section mates, and least of all yourselves.


gosh an emo post. yeah it's there so that i can come back and read though it should anything undesirable happen during syf. i wouldn't be in the frame of mind to do any sort of reflection. i'm not being pessimistic. dhssb press on!

today is the most awesome day of march yet
cos THERE WASN'T SCHOOL gloats

basically just stayed at home cos they refuse to open band room (or did they in the end?)

spam read/slept/ate/used comp. anything but work. i guess that was a really unproductive way to spend a day off, but since my march hols are burnt, might as well have fun today.

and flight details are out, flying at 2305 so i might be playing in rhythm. maybe the half before intermission. or maybe just the first song. or possibly just for open house in the afternoon then go (if they bother letting yr3s play.).

zzz 3 days till term ends.
