somehow tessa suting deb and i (and 3 others) didn't get into 3I , the completely lit class
i think smt to do with gpa D: what wouldn't i give to get into the pure lit class. having to move from class to class during lit/geog is just wtf-worthy
but... thankyou, thankyou ms ling for giving me my first choice haha yay:D

set pieces are out

well at least we got a decent composer unlike some other years.
wonder if rgssb and acs(i) are lucky or suay. their choice pieces are both written by him, and he'll be on the panel.
the first piece 'memories of friendship' is damn nice. but very tiring. my first impression was that it sounded like celebrations for wind and percussion (O_O wut)
the second piece 'singapore flyer' sounds disturbingly like a lott of songs. most strongly - laputa(the cantabile melody in flyer), euterpe(the giocoso rhythm and abit of melody) and phantom (??? maybe it's the eupho's hammering).
sounded a bit like perseus too (0.0) and absurdly, asgard(i think that's just me)
looking forward to both pieces :D i don't know what i'll feel when the novelty wears off, but now i still think they sound damn nice
yay :D wonder which will be more played...

i think the week before last i mentioned that last week would be fun
well, hell, i take back those words. this is gonna be a self pitying post :|
band on monday was ok i think, cos i don't remember anything
hell started on tuesday. german class was fun, but the cher gave us chocs and gummies in aircon room. so i got a sore throat.
woke up on wednesday at 4am with an inflamed throat and a fever. infection. great. contemplated for 1.5 hrs whether to skip band or not. finally informed the relevant ppl at around 5.30am. zzz
it was hell. well they say the first time is always the hardest. first time missing band, so i totally couldn't go back to sleep. maybe next time it'll be easier (what next time?!)
thursday was the fit in deutsch test which i've already posted on. walaoo
then chalet which was painful cos i caught a flu on top of infection. so staying up till 3 (?) with sore throat, cough, fever and runny nose was no joke :\ but chalet was fun :D only 2L can make me somewhat ignore such circumstances :D
friday was band. terrible. my voice deserted me in the morning(but came back, thankfully). fever, then crazy cold, and repeat and repeat. throughout full band omg.
well actually there were nice things about the week
1) fit in deutsch 2 test is finally over, which means no more moelc for 1+ months :D
2) chaletttt
3) i didn't miss band tutorial on wed cos tutor didn't come either :D
haha yay :D and i'm only left with cough now :D this week is gonna be awesomeee (pray that nothing changes that)

horrible test. horrible oral. horrible accents. gosh
anyway we made a card for frau yong and got everyone to sign. then nina and i went to moelc to return a book and pass her the card. she wasn't there, so we got frau heng(i think) to help us. or frau tan, i'm not sure
then went to the library and we saw frau wong :DD but i felt damn bad. cos frau wong taught us for 2 years, and we (the whole class) have never given her anything but stress and noise.
and this frau yong teaches us for 3 weeks and gets a card.
i feel damn bad
anyway, i'm leaving for class chalet soon. i'm sick, and will probably get sicker. band ppl on friday will see me at my very very worst.

least useless holiday week i've had
this week is totally filled. which is very hard to come by
band yesterday tmr and friday. german yesterday today and thursday. class chalet tmr thursday and friday.
it even overlaps! fulfilling :D
very painful throat. i shall be extremely cranky tmr. like that'll be much of a difference. hah
i wonder how long i can whisper before i give in to the temptation to use my voice. 10 sec? 15?
but i need my voice for oral tests on thursday. damn -.-
ok it's late and i have a few more episodes of house to go. and then band a few hours later.
